7/4/4 is a very good result for an 'intermediate&q uot; player :)
And I agree that this is the best map for HoMM 3 while Biobob's 'Rise of the Sun King' isn't tested properly and finished by the author. more..

Xiedu is one of the best H3 maps i have ever played. I enjoyed it really a lot. Managed to finish in 7/4/4 as i am intermediate player, but it was fun! It is very hard in beginning, you have to know what to do before you do it, otherwise you have to start all over again. Pretty much after you beat t more..

i remember how those 'random heroes puzled me when i 1st played that map years ago,it was easier this time just had to go go and take with diplomacy the big monster stuffs before 'random.

2) I can see from a youtube walkthrough video that the 'Ring of life' (I have found ring of Vitality :)) can be found so that the Elixir of Life can be created, but I cannot seem to find it an more..
